Tebbs Bend-Green River Bridge Battlefield

The Battle of Tebbs Bend, which took place on July 4, 1863, is considered one of the Civil War's remarkable small victories. Confederate leader John Hunt Morgan and his cavalry wreaked havoc across Kentucky, but they met their match in Michigan's Col. Orlando Moore during the decisive battle at Tebbs Bend.

To delve deeper into this historic battle, you can order a signed copy of "Morgan is Coming," a book written by Campbellsville's own historian and author, Betty J. Gorin.
