A wonderful gem right in the city, the Trace-Pitman Greenway, follows Little Pitman Creek and Trace Creek. The trail offers beautiful views of the woods and meadows along the creeks and has picnic tables and benches spread throughout making it a perfect spot for the whole family to enjoy. Frequently used by joggers, walkers, and bicyclists, you may also see deer or great blue heron while out on the greenway.
The Trace Pitman Greenway is a 1.8-mile paved trail one-way without the loop. There’s a 0.4-mile loop mid-ways. It’s 2.2 miles with the loop.
The Trace-Pitman Greenway is accessible by two trailheads.
The other trailhead is inside the Paul E. Osborne Recreational Area.
