US Army Corps of Engineers Trails
There are almost 50 miles of trails meandering around Green River Lake, that afford some of the most scenic views in the region. From crossing lush valleys to taking in gorgeous overlooks, visitors are sure to find a trail that meets their abilities and gives a sense of hiking adventure.
The US Army Corps of Engineers maintains hiking trails off Lake Road located between Soul Chapel Road and Site 1 Boat Ramp in the Green River Dam area. The Salsman trail is 1.1 miles in length and offers a beautiful view of Green River Lake and the floating cabins at Green River Marina. The wooded path is well marked with trail markers.
They also have horse trails in the Holmes Bend area offering beautiful views of Green River Lake.
