1. Campbellsville 48th annual 4th of July Celebration – June 29 – July 4

You’ll want to put yourself in the middle of everything you love about Kentucky for this

six-day 4TH OF JULY EXTRAVAGANZA…the largest in central Kentucky and the most

anticipated of Campbellsville, Kentucky outdoor activities. Our schedule of events is full

of activities for the entire family, from parades, 5K races, tractor pulls, community

picnics, air shows and car shows, to patriotic concerts, gospel singers and live music

performances, including a free concert featuring Hannah Ellis, and a not-to-be-missed K-Country showdown. And to top it all off, spectacular fireworks!


If you’re looking for a meaningful and memorable way to celebrate our country’s

independence, Campbellsville 4 th of July celebration is how it’s done!


2. 400 Mile Sale – June 6 – June 9

Most people think of hiking, biking, and walking trails when Campbellsville Kentucky trail

town comes to mind. Others think of a trail of bargains, antiques, quilts, and other

treasures to be found along Highway 68 during the 400 Mile Sale, and Campbellsville is

right in the middle of it all. Campbellsville is a perfect stop for food during your shopping

3. MasterWorks Festival – Campbellsville University -- June 18 – July 13

For musicians and music lovers, the lovely campus of Campbellsville University is the

perfect their gifts and talents through a series of concerts, recitals, and master classes.


Concerts and recitals are open free to the public. This is a Campbellsville Ky event

you’ll not want to miss and will carry with you when you leave.


4. Jets Over Kentucky – July 13 – July 20

All eyes on the sky as remote control (RC) pilots from all over the world converge on

Taylor County Airport for a weeklong one-of-a-kind event showcasing world-class RC

flying and aerial stunts. Jets Over Kentucky is a favorite among Campbellsville KY

events and tons of fun for all ages.


5. Green River Raft Up – July 27

The best way to cool down in the midsummer Kentucky heat is with your toes in the

water. Meet up with other lake lovers at the Green River Raft Up at Butler’s Creek. This

annual event is one of the most favorite of Green River Lake things to do, whether

you’re staying at the Green River Lake campgrounds or relaxing in historic downtown

Campbellsville. The water’s fine, so come on in!
